On a warm early autumn evening, we cool off with the Chrysanthemum and Goji Iced Tea ($5.00) from Tea Journal, which comes in an elegant bottle printed with the Tea Journal logo.
The tea is a clear pale straw colour with a gentle sweet and floral aroma. Consumed chilled, the fragrant earthy flavour of chrysanthemum dominates pleasantly with a mellow sweetness and the slightest hint of acidity from the goji berry, followed by a refreshing and clean finish. Overall, the tea was enjoyable for cooling down on a hot day when we’re after something without any of the astringency or bitterness that can be found in leaf teas.
This Chrysanthemum and Goji Iced Tea was purchased at Tea Journal located at Chatswood Interchange, 44/436 Victoria Ave, Sydney NSW 2067 in March 2017.
