Grove Juice Signature Mandarin Juice with Pulp is our favourite fresh juices at the supermarket. It appeared on shelves in 2017 before disappearing in mid-2018. We never thought that would happen, so we never got around to making a post about it. We were devastated until we remembered that Aldi stocks the pulp free version, so with relief, this is Grove Juice Signature Mandarin Juice.
The juice is a translucent orange colour with a fragrant mandarin aroma. Served chilled, sweet notes of mandarin flesh come head before developing with a moderate acidity in the body ahead of the slightly sharper notes of citrus zest in the finish, leaving a refreshed and clean aftertaste. The sweeter depth of flavour from mandarins is one of the main reasons this is one of our favourite fresh juices. We prefer our juices with pulp because it gave a more satisfying mouthfeel, but we’ll take this one even pulp free.
