This is the Asahi Calpis Soda Creamy Peach, featuring up to 10% peach juice and fresh cream.

The beverage had an opaque white hue with a mellow peach aroma, complementing the usual sweet-tangy notes of drinking yoghurt, along with gentle carbonation. Consumed chilled, the juicy white peach flavour emerged briefly at the start of each sip before transitioning to the familiar sweet-tart yoghurt profile of Calpis. The presence of cream was particularly noticeable mid-sip, lending a richer dairy quality compared to regular Calpis. Towards the finish, the floral sweetness of white peaches returned, leaving a juicy, fruity impression, while the carbonation provided a clean, refreshing aftertaste.
Interestingly, a previous iteration of this drink, Asahi Calpis Peach of Peach (2023), was not carbonated. At the time, we noted that its lack of carbonation diminished its refreshing quality compared to the Calpis Soda range. This newer carbonated version seems to have addressed that issue, making it a much more enjoyable balance of rich flavour and refreshing finish.
This Asahi Calpis Soda Creamy Peach contained 500 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
