This is the Asahi Mitsuya Tokunou Premium Cabernet & Blood Orange Mix, containing 30% fruit juice from grapes sourced from Australia, Brazil, and Italy, along with blood oranges.

The beverage had a translucent deep red colour with a sweet raspberry-citrus aroma, reminiscent of sweetened blood oranges, and was softly carbonated. Consumed chilled, the richly sweet grape notes unfolded with remarkable nuance, initially dominated by the musky dark berry or cassis tones of the cabernet grapes. These were delicately balanced by the fresh, lighter notes of muscat in the body. The blood orange added a sweet-tart raspberry-like finish, before the carbonation refreshed the palate, leaving a clean aftertaste. Overall, this was an incredibly smooth blend of grape and citrus, with a high juice content, offering a non-alcoholic take on wine grapes that delivered a similarly luxurious experience.
This Asahi Mitsuya Tokunou Premium Cabernet & Blood Orange Mix contained 500 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
