This is the Miranda Xá Xị, a Vietnamese brand of sarsaparilla.
The beverage had an opaque black-brown hue with a sweet licorice aroma characteristic of sarsaparilla and a moderate level of effervescence. When consumed chilled, bright wintergreen notes emerged at the beginning of each sip, accompanied by a mellow sweetness. Mid-sip, a sharp licorice flavour developed, adding depth, before the sarsaparilla notes quickly faded in the second half of the sip as the carbonation dissipated, leaving a lingering sugary sweetness in the aftertaste. Overall, the bright licorice notes were enjoyable, though the drink would have been even better if they carried through to the finish.
