Pokka Sapporo Kirēto Lemon

This is the Pokka Sapporo Kirēto Lemon. It contained up to 10% juice from Italian lemons, equivalent to the juice of one lemon, along with lemon peel extract.

The beverage had a translucent light yellow hue, similar to lemon squash but clearer, and a fresh, tart lemon aroma with moderate carbonation. When consumed chilled, the initial sip delivered a moderate sourness reminiscent of fresh lemon juice, which gradually developed a hint of natural lemon sweetness. The tartness was not overwhelming but provided enough sharpness to be invigorating. The carbonation enhanced the acidity slightly, and the inclusion of lemon peel extract added brightness to the latter half of the sip without an overpowering presence of lemon oils. The result was a clean finish with a refreshing aftertaste.

Overall, it was enjoyable and had a ‘healthy’ taste, but it lacked the immediate satisfaction of Suntory CC Lemon, making it unlikely for a repurchase.

This Pokka Sapporo Kirēto Lemon contained 490 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
