This is the Tomomasu Muskmelon Cider. It is flavoured artificially and contained no muskmelon juice.
The beverage was transparent and colourless with a gentle muskmelon aroma and high carbonation. Served chilled, the sweet musky notes of cantaloupes came through with balancing subtle acidity and floral sweetness that recalled the fully ripened centre of the melon before the bubbles cleansed the palate in the finish for a clean aftertaste. The muskmelon flavour tasted less artificial than the watermelon flavour and made for a refreshing beverage that had us returning for a second sip every time.
This Tomomasu Muskmelon Cider contained 300 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
