This is the Suntory CC Lemon Yuzu and Mikan, a winter limited edition twist on the original lemon flavour. It contained 1% juice from lemon and yuzu, but no actual mikan juice.
The beverage had a translucent yellow hue and a sweet floral citrus aroma, distinctly of yuzu with a hint of lemon. When consumed chilled, the initial notes of each sip captured a subtle hint of yuzu’s floral notes along with the mellow, sweet juiciness of mikan. This quickly gave way to a drier mouthfeel as the crisp lemon flavour of regular CC Lemon dominated mid-sip, though with more muted tartness than the original. In the aftertaste, a soft floral citrus quality of yuzu lingered, contrasting with the vibrant yuzu presence in the aroma. Overall, while the blend of yuzu, mikan, and lemon was evident, it lacked the refreshing and tasty flavour found in other blends in the CC Lemon range, such as the Honey Apple.
