The initial musky sweetness of the melon was pleasant but lacked the refreshing acidity that could have provided better balance, as seen in lighter offerings like the apple flavour. The heavier mouthfeel, influenced by the 4% soybean solids (compared to 2% in the apple version), also contributed to its relative density.
Overall, while this flavoured soy milk was an enjoyable and unique entry in the market, it lacked the refreshing quality of other flavours and may not be a first choice for repurchase.
