This is the Kōcha Kaden Dessert Torokeru Peach Tea. It used Ceylon tea leaves and contained up to 10% fruit juice from white peaches grown in Yamanashi Prefecture. Other than its novel jelly-like texture, it recalled the Coca-Cola Kōcha Kaden Craftea Zeitaku Peach Tea.

The beverage exhibited an opaque, light brown hue and emitted a mild peach aroma. When served chilled, it featured a smooth, thick texture, akin to slightly set jelly that had been carefully stirred to achieve a drinkable consistency. The jelly transitioned into a velvety, indulgent texture as it melted on the palate. The peach tea flavour took the forefront immediately, with delicate floral undertones. As one continued to sip, the aromatic black tea emerged, followed by a subtle honey-like sweetness and a hint of fresh peach’s natural sourness towards the finish. The infusion of Ceylon tea balanced the overall sweetness of the drink. The outcome transformed the Coca-Cola Kōcha Kaden Craftea Zeitaku Peach Tea into a dessert-like tea with a unique jelly-like texture and a subtle, invigorating aftertaste, rendering it a pleasant and rejuvenating selection.
This Coca-Cola Kōcha Kaden Dessert Torokeru Peach Tea contained 280 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
