This is the Remedy Kombucha Limited Batch Pink Grapefruit. It is flavoured with hibiscus, lemon juice and natural grapefruit and lemon flavours, but sweetened artificially with erythritol and steviol glycosides.

The beverage was a translucent deep red with a zesty grapefruit aroma and light carbonation. Served chilled, the grapefruit notes were significantly more mellow than the aroma suggested. Rather, it captured the tartness of the fresh fruit, avoiding its signature bitterness or zestiness. The natural tartness of the kombucha took centre stage and lent itself to amplifying the acidity of the grapefruit flavour. The presence of the artificial sweetener was prominent, going a long way to mask the taste of the ‘funky’ fermented flavour of the kombucha, which also came through in the aroma as the carbonation settled in the drink after pouring. Overall, as with the previous kombucha from Remedy, I’d have preferred a bolder fruity flavour.
This Remedy Kombucha Limited Batch Pink Grapefruit contained 750 ml. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
