Chaoyang Delicious is located inside Orange Supermarket at Wentworth Point. With a steady stream of customers and stellar online reviews, we decided to stop by while picking up groceries.
Most of the dishes on the menu are prepared in advance, stored frozen, then defrosted and cooked through in a wok to order. While this may initially seem off-putting, the types of dishes offered lend themselves well to this method of preparation. The noodles, however, are clearly made fresh on-site, as we observed them being prepared and stored in the fridge.

Slow-Cooked Beef Noodle ($15.80)
The soup had a rich, deep beefy flavour while maintaining a relatively clear consistency. The beef was generously portioned, tender, and fully infused with the broth’s flavour. The greens were fresh, and the noodles had the perfect al dente bounce, also served in a generous portion. Overall, this was a satisfying bowl of slow-cooked beef noodles—one we would easily return for.

Stir Fry Eggplant Noodle ($15.80)
The eggplant had a pronounced tomato flavour from the tomato-based sauce it was cooked in, while the pieces themselves were tender and skinless. Their shredded texture complemented the perfectly al dente noodles, offering a softer bite in contrast. The vegetables were fresh, and both the eggplant and noodles were generously portioned. A very satisfying dish.

Chaoyang Delicious delivered satisfying, generously portioned noodle dishes with fresh, well-prepared ingredients, making it a worthwhile stop despite the pre-prepared nature of most menu items.
