This is Cocomo, a self-proclaimed “coconut paradise” specialising in beverages and desserts built around coconut in its various forms, from coconut water and coconut milk through to coconut chips.

Second only to coconuts, the brand has a particular affinity for sun bears, which feature prominently throughout both the store and its packaging.

Mango Sago with Coconut Milk ($12.80) — mango cubes, mango purée, coconut milk, coconut chips and sago
The dessert came together as a layered composition of fruit, dairy-free creaminess and contrasting textures. Initial contact delivered sweet, ripe mango alongside the mellow nuttiness of coconut, establishing a fruit-forward structure. The coconut chips contributed a crisp crunch that contrasted with the softness of the mango cubes, while the coconut milk and mango purée provided a velvety, spoonable body. Through the mid-palate, the mango developed in layers, moving from the concentrated sweetness of the purée to the fresher, slightly tart character of the cubes. Gentle pops of chewiness from the tender sago added further textural variation, while the coconut elements anchored the dessert with creaminess and nutty depth. The finish resolved into lingering mango sweetness and coconut richness, with the chips maintaining textural contrast through the final spoonful. Cohesive and highly layered.

Mango Coconut Pudding ($12.80) — mango purée and mango cubes topped with coconut pudding.
The dessert came together as a two-layer structure built around contrasting expressions of mango and coconut. Initial contact delivered rich coconut flavour alongside smooth creaminess, with the pudding presenting a thick, just-set jelly-like texture. The coconut contributed a mellow sweetness and warm nuttiness that defined the opening profile. Through the mid-palate, the mango purée emerged as the primary source of sweetness, while the mango cubes introduced freshness and gentle acidity. The pudding maintained its structure throughout, providing a dense, velvety counterpoint to the softer fruit components. The finish resolved into balanced mango sweetness and lingering coconut richness, with the pudding’s creamy texture remaining present through the aftertaste. Cohesive and restrained, though less texturally and flavourfully layered than the Mango Sago with Coconut Milk.

Overall, a dessert-focused venue defined by layered tropical fruit flavours and coconut-centred textures, strongest where multiple textures are allowed to interact within the same dish.
