This is the Koikeya Pure Potato Jagaimo Gokochi Cured Ham and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The chips varied in size and thickness, ranging from 2 to 6 cm in diameter and 1.5 to 2 mm in thickness. They were dusted in a white and red seasoning, and emanted a rich and savoury aroma reminiscent of cured ham. Upon tasting, the cured ham flavour was immediately discernible, featuring a sharp and savoury quality akin to prosciutto. This was followed in the body by a mellow sweetness contributed by the extra virgin olive oil. In the finish, a rich potato flavour took centre stage, its intensity varying depending on the thickness of each chip. The chips provided a satisfying crunch, yet it was a denser texture compared to the crisper quality of kettle-cooked potato chips. While our preference lies with the kettle-cook format, this alternative offered a distinct yet still delicious experience, showcasing a rich potato flavour and texture reminiscent of thinly sliced baked potatoes. Paired with the unique cured ham flavour, these thick-cut chips presented themselves as a remarkably elegant and luxurious snack.
