Limited edition regional flavours for Pringles are a popular item in Japan, I was stoked to find a few Australian inspired flavours at our local supermarket. This one here is Pringles Meat Pie. Afterall, what’s more quintessentially Australian than a meat pie?

These potato crisps have hints of the flavour in the meat gravy with notes of a pastry base coming through on successive crisps. But as you continue to eat through them in quick succession, the overwhelming flavour was one of corn puffs. So while the meat pie flavour was there, it’s not sustained so not something to be enjoyed throughout the tube. On that note, these Pringles, the circumference of the tube has shrunk – I can no longer fit my hand inside! Also, for something that markets itself as an Aussie favourite, these were produced in Malaysia.
This tube of Pringles Aussie Favourites Meat Pie contained 134 g. It was produced in Malaysia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
