This Smith’s Potato Chips Grilled Pepper Steak was released as part of the same series as the grilled chicken with lime and chilli.
The chips were crinkle-cut, dusted in a brown and black powdered seasoning, and have a meaty aroma. Upon tasting, a rich savoury beef flavour came through immediately with gentle pepper notes before a sweet acidity emerged towards the finish and recalled grilled onions. Overall, we enjoyed the rich beef flavour of these chips as they were a world apart from the generic saltiness of the beef stock flavour in regular beef flavoured chips.
