The mini bar is a deep coral pink colour and contained milk chocolate flavoured cream sandwiching the wafers that are enrobed in white chocolate that’s been mixed with a guava powder containing 2.5% guava.
The KitKat has a vibrant aroma of sweet red guava as we’ve come to know from guava nectar (rather than the fresh fruit). Upon tasting, the chocolate is firmer than Japanese KitKats, delivering an audible crunch with the creamy dairy notes of the white chocolate coming through initially. As the chocolate melts, the bright tropical notes of the fruit develop with a hint of acidity and a slight graininess and a bold sweetness much like guava nectar. Overall, the guava flavour delivered here is true to the flavour of guava, making it an enjoyable success.
