Nestlé KitKat Party Ice Cream

These Nestlé KitKat Party Ice Cream were released in November 2019 to celebrate Winter Ice Day on the 15th, following the expanding trend of consuming ice cream in winter as the indoor temperatures rise.

There are 14 different designs and our bag contained 5 of them.

Each mini-bar is white and contained a cream flavoured with 0.7% cream powder that sandwiches wafers enrobed in white chocolate mixed with 2%fiantine, a finely-baked crepe.

These KitKat have a very strong aroma of dairy, much like a decent soft serve. Upon tasting, the fiantine brought an extra crispness at the start of the bite that’s more delicate than the crunch of the wafer centre and not present in usual KitKat until mid-bite. The white chocolate melts to a sweet and strong dairy flavour promised in the aroma that’s then further amplified by the cream sandwiching the wafers. Overall, these KitKat capture the flavour of soft serve with a crepe wafer remarkably well, but I’m not a fan of prominent dairy flavours.

This Nestlé KitKat Party Time Ice Cream contained 12 mini bars. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Kumamoto, Japan in 2019.
