This pair is orange (sour) and apple (sweet). The orange recalled an unripe orange that’s sour but without a strong orange flavour, while the apple has the bright notes of sweet apple juice.
This pair is lemon (sour) and cherry (sweet). The lemon has a very zesty citrus flavour with the sourness becoming ever more prominent as you eat it, while the cherry has a balanced sweetness and the natural flavour of the fresh fruit.
This pair is currant (sour) and blueberry (sweet). The currant has a tart berry flavour that’s surprisingly true of currants without being too sour, while the blueberry isn’t a particularly true imitation of the fresh fruit and reminds of the flavour of blue coloured drinks and medicine despite the distinct fruity and berry notes.
I enjoy the sweet flavours in these bears, but overall prefer the flavours and size of the smaller Haribo Gold Bears.
