This is the Meiji Kajū Gumi Muscat. Each bag contained its weight in fresh fruit juice, specifically, 51 g of fresh muscat juice concentrated 6.1 times to yield 8.4 g of concentrated muscat juice. It was rated 2 out of 5 on Meiji’s softness-to-hardness scale.

The gummies were around 2.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm in size, with a translucent yellow hue and emitted a pleasant muscat aroma. Upon tasting, the gummies offered a soft and bouncy texture (rated 2/5 on the soft to hard scale), with the muscat flavour initially presenting itself in a mild manner during the first few chews. Subsequently, a vibrant and juicy muscat sweetness emerged in the body of the gummy, followed by a well-balanced acidity in the finish. The grape flavour tasted natural, akin to that of a freshly picked grape. Combined with the impeccable texture, these attributes rendered the gummies deeply satisfying and certainly worth considering for repurchase.
