This is the Meiji Kajū Gumi Tropical Fruit Mix, featured approximately 9.4 g of 58x concentrated fruit juice—mango, pink guava, and pineapple—equating to 100% fruit juice content by weight when reconstituted.

Each gummy was shaped like a scored mango cheek, with a 5 x 4 crosshatch pattern, measuring approximately 2.5 x 1.8 x 0.8 cm. The gummies had a deep orange hue and a pronounced mango aroma. On tasting, they offered a firm but pliant chew, rated 2 out of 5 on Meiji’s softness-to-hardness scale. The flavour developed in distinct stages: it began with the sweet, floral notes of pink guava, followed by the juicier, more rounded mango that took centre stage mid-bite. Towards the finish, the bright, tangy acidity of golden pineapple emerged, adding lift and complexity. A gentle tropical aftertaste lingered briefly.
Overall, a well-structured tropical gummy with vibrant flavour progression and satisfying texture. Both flavour and form were thoughtfully executed—well worth repurchasing.
This Meiji Kajū Gumi Tropical Fruit Mix contained 54 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sendai, Japan in 2024.
