This is the Tarami no Oishii Konnyaku Jelly Mikan, which contained 10% mikan juice from Korea and 5 g of dietary fibre.
The jelly featured a transparent liquid component and a translucent light orange konjac component, with a juicy aroma of fresh mikan. When consumed chilled, the mikan flavour came through immediately in both the liquid and jelly components, presenting a subtle sweetness and fresh yet gentle acidity. The liquid component had a slightly more tart, juicy mikan flavour, while the jelly offered a more mellow taste. The jelly was smooth and easily drawn through the straw, with the dietary fibre not affecting the texture. Although the artificial sweeteners created a milder mikan flavour compared to jellies containing sugar, they did not impart any unwelcome bitterness during consumption or in the aftertaste. This made it an ideal low-calorie snack.
