This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Muscat is one of the first flavours we tried, yet oddly one of the last to appear here.
Each piece is a yellow green colour with a sausage shape about 1.5 cm in length and 1 cm in diameter.
The gummies have a fragrant aroma of stewed apple jam (a compote, essentially) that carried through on tasting. Biting through, the teeth meet a gentle resistance from the ‘skin’ of the gummy before sinking into a soft and thick gel with an apple flavour that’s mouth salivating in acidity yet swiftly balanced by a prominent sweet apple flavour much like a compote. Much like the grape and muscat flavours, there are no ‘bits’ in the gummy to provide extra texture but the bold in-your-face flavour provides enough excitement for the palate.
This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Muscat contained 40 g or 9 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2018.
