We first tried the UHA Mikuakuto Kokoro gummy candies a few years back, and here we’re trying a few more of the flavours. This is UHA Mikakutō Cororo Strawberry.
Each gummy was about 2 cm in length with a 1.5 cm diameter and bright red colour.
These gummies had a delightful, sweet strawberry aroma reminiscent of fresh strawberry jam. When bitten into, the gummy instantly released a vibrant strawberry flavour that beautifully balanced the sweetness and natural acidity of a ripe strawberry, avoiding any artificial taste. The gummy’s exterior offered a satisfying resistance to the teeth, almost reminiscent of a mild crunch as it yielded to the softer inner texture. The interior of the gummy maintained a gentle bounce without chewiness, and gradually dissolved on the palate. The addition of strawberry seeds imparted just the right amount of texture to enhance the overall experience.
This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Strawberry contained 40 g or 10 x 4 g pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2018.
