Morinaga Caramel Milk

This Morinaga Milk Caramel was first released in 1913 and over a century on, the caramels continue to be packaged in its distinctive yellow box and are Japan’s best selling caramel.

Each box contained 12 individually foil-wrapped caramels.

Each caramel is an opaque tan colour, approximately 1.5 x 1.5 v 1 cm in size with a sweet caramel aroma. The caramel maintains its shape at room temperature but is immediately soft on the teeth without sticking to the teeth. As its chewed, the caramel releases an enjoyable caramel flavour that’s increasingly rich, giving the flavour of a darker caramel with a more pronounced sweetness that’s distinctly caramelised rather than sugary.

This Morinaga Milk Caramel contained 60 g or 12 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Tōkyō, Hokkaidō, Japan in 2018.
