This is the Jasmin Lemon Tea ($8.90, regular size, half ice, less sugar, +$0.90 for crystal ball topping) from Ninji Lemon Tea.
The beverage had an opaque pale yellow hue with three lemon slices and white pearls settled at the base. When consumed chilled, dewy jasmine notes emerged immediately, with a balanced sweetness, but these were quickly accompanied by pronounced astringency and bitterness, suggestive of oversteeped green tea—both in temperature and duration—similar to that often encountered at yum cha establishments. The presence of the jasmine quickly weakened as the ice melted, leaving a noticeably diluted taste, while te white pearls lacked the satisfying bounce from other stores.
Overall, an uninspired and poorly balanced rendition, weak in both flavour clarity and execution.
This Jasmin Lemon Tea was purchased from Ninji Lemon Tea in Sydney, Australia in October 2025.
