This is the Columbia Potchi Strawberry Cream, a well-loved confectionery from a long-established Filipino brand dating back to 1937. A firm favourite among Filipino colleagues, this gummy candy is known for its soft texture and vibrant strawberry flavour.

Each bag contained 50 individually wrapped pieces.

Each gummy had a domed shape with a layered appearance, featuring a white base and a pink top, coated in sugar crystals. It measurred approximately 2.5 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick at the centre.

The gummy had an incredibly soft, marshmallow-like texture, while the sugar crystals provided a pleasant crunch that lingered as the gummy was chewed. The flavour opened with a pronounced sweetness, followed by a bright strawberry note that developed a subtle acidity, adding freshness. While the initial taste had a slightly artificial quality, it gradually transitioned into a more natural strawberry juice flavour that lingered on the palate. Overall, the combination of a crunchy exterior, soft interior, and a well-balanced strawberry profile, complemented by a gentle creaminess, made these a delightful treat.

This Columbia Potchi Strawberry Cream contained 135 g (50 pieces). It was produced the Phillipines and received as a gift from colleagues visiting The Phillipines in 2025.
