This is the Eikokuya Apple Black Tea.

The tea consisted of tea bagged looseleaf broken leaf black tea and apple leaves.

Steeping one tea bag with 3 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 85°C for 3 minutes, the infusion was a red-brown colour with an sweet black tea aroma. Served hot, it’s the same black tea notes that came through at the head and persist through to the finish with only the apple notes showing themselves only as slightest crispness in the body without an otherwise notable presence of the sweet acidity of the fresh fruit.

This Eikokuya Apple Black Tea contained 6 tea bags. The tea was sourced from Sri Lanka and was purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2014.
