I like my fruit yoghurts the same way I like my chocolate sundaes: with as high a percentage of the good stuff (that is, the fruit pulp or the hot fudge) as possible. This Gippsland Dairy Watermelon & Strawberry Twist Yoghurt has a high 10% fruit. That 10% fruit content is made up of 35% watermelon and 30% strawberry, with the other 35% mostly sugar and water.

The yoghurt is mixed through with bright red-pink watermelon and strawberry pulp with a sweet berry smell. Upon tasting, the yoghurt itself is thick and creamy with a prominent dairy flavour and balanced sweetness, while the pulp has the sweet freshness of watermelon with diced strawberries bringing pops of firm texture. Combined, though, the yoghurt and the pulp is too sweet and lacked the welcome acidity that strawberry yoghurts tend to have. So, we enjoy the texture but the flavour was wanting.
