This is the Gouyaer Dà Guō Shuō Spicy Crayfish Flavour.

Each cracker was about 3 x 4 x 0.2 cm, contained over 50% rice and dusted in a spicy crayfish-flavoured seasoning.

The crackers exuded a savoury and spiced seafood aroma that translated vividly upon tasting. The overall flavour recalled the Sichuan delicacy, Ma La Crayfish, with its gentle sweetness reminiscent of crayfish and the robust notes of spicy aromatics apparent from the initial bite, persisting until a nutty finish imparted by the black sesame seeds. Despite the aromatic nature, the heat was only subtly tingly at the back of the throat and didn’t have the typical numbing sensation. Contrary to the conventional light and crispy nature of rice crackers, the texture of these crackers leaned towards being denser, akin to a savoury grain biscuit. In summary, we enjoyed the flavour profile of these crackers, but the texture failed to entice us enough for a repeat purchase.
