Harry’s Ice Cream Peppermint Brownie

We first came across Harry’s Ice Cream back in 2014 when our sticky date pudding phase coincided with their release of an ice cream of the same flavour. That ice cream didn’t excite us particularly, but 5 years later we picked up this Harry’s Ice Cream Peppermint Brownie after reading positive reviews of it online.

It’s described as ‘smooth peppermint ice cream with chewy chocolate brownie (4%) and rich chocolate sauce (12%)’. It contained 24% cream and 0.12% natural peppermint flavour.

The ice cream is has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a perfect balance between the minty freshness of the peppermint flavour and the richness of the chocolate sauce and the chocolate brownie. Both flavours came through in equal measure, with generous cubes of chewy brownie pieces scattered throughout adding a welcome contrasting chewy texture as well as pops of intense chocolate that makes digging through the ice cream a fun and tasty experience. The flavour and texture of this ice cream is worth the price premium over the Bulla Creamy Classics Ice Cream Mint Choc Chip.

This Harry’s Ice Cream Peppermint Brownie contained 520 ml. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
