Nobel Petagu Gumi Golden Pineapple

This is the Nobel Petagu Gumi Golden Pineapple, containing concentrated pineapple juice.

Each gummy was shaped like an alien character, featuring three scalloped edges for legs, a cut-out mouth in either a smiling D-shape or a round O-shape, and two eyes. Some were longer than others, averaging 2.5 cm in width, 4 cm in height and 0.5 cm in thickness. They had an opaque yellow-orange hue and a mellow, sweet aroma.

On tasting, the surface was dry, with a very firm and resistant chew that was reminiscent of a rubber band, though in a pleasing way. The gummy hydrated immediately, releasing a vibrant pineapple flavour. The flavour began with notable intensity, and subsequent chews released an even stronger, more concentrated profile by mid-bite, which continued into the finish. The taste captured the vibrant sweetness of golden pineapples, balanced by rich tropical acidity, leaving a lingering golden pineapple presence in the aftertaste.

Overall, these gummies offered a satisfyingly chewy texture and a robust, well-balanced pineapple flavour, making them worth repurchasing.

This Nobel Petagu Gumi Golden Pineapple contained 50 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2025.
