This is the Patisserie Verduveine Kogashi Apple Madeleine (¥210), a madeleine featuring baked apple.

This paired beautifully with the creamy texture of the soft baked apple, which balanced the sweetness of the madeleine with a fresh, tart apple flavour. The rich apple taste, present in the cake, baked apple, and syrup, added impressive depth, leaving no doubt that this was an apple-focused madeleine. It was thoroughly enjoyable.
