This is the Sin Yee Food Coconut Cookies, a toasted coconut biscuit featuring compressed desiccated coconut.

Each package contained eight individually sealed pieces, each rectangular and measuring 6 × 3 × 1.5 cm. They presented as golden-brown, compressed bricks of toasted desiccated coconut. Aroma opened with sweet, nutty coconut notes.
Initial contact delivered a rough surface and a dense appearance, reminiscent of Weet-Bix, but the biscuit broke apart with a light crunch and a very loose crumb. The texture remained uniform throughout, dry and crisp initially, before hydrating swiftly on the palate as the coconut fibres softened. This released a caramelised sweetness that complemented the toasted coconut nuttiness. Compared with Weet-Bix, the biscuit was considerably lighter in texture, with a more enjoyable toasted coconut flavour.
Overall, a toasted coconut biscuit progressing from nutty aroma to caramelised sweetness, with a crisp, loose crumb that softened rapidly on the palate, resulting in a light and pleasantly coconut-forward snack.
This Sin Yee Food Coconut Cookies contained 140 g (8 pieces). It was produced in Malaysia and purchased in Sydney, Australia, in 2026.
