This is the Supremely Gourmet Chocolates Feijoa, containing 10 individually wrapped chocolates made using 2.5% feijoa within a 70% chocolate base.

Each piece presented in a dome shape, measuring approximately 2.5 cm in diameter and 2 cm in height, with a smooth, glossy surface. Aroma opened with a dominant dark chocolate note, supported by a faint underlying fruitiness.

Initial contact delivered a firm, clean snap from the chocolate shell, which fractured evenly before yielding to a soft, viscous centre. The filling flowed slowly, establishing a clear contrast between the brittle exterior and the fluid interior. Through the mid-palate, dark chocolate remained dominant, carrying a steady bitterness and richness that anchored the profile. The feijoa component emerged as a generalised sweet-fruity note, but remained compressed beneath the intensity of the chocolate, limiting its distinctiveness. Towards the finish, as the chocolate receded, the feijoa became more perceptible. A slight, unobtrusive graininess appeared within the centre, coinciding with a clearer expression of its tropical profile, comparable to guava with lighter suggestions of pineapple and strawberry. The aftertaste carried a mild fruit sweetness alongside residual cocoa bitterness.
Overall, a filled chocolate with a clear structural contrast but a flavour hierarchy weighted heavily toward dark chocolate, limiting the articulation of the feijoa.
