We often enjoyed the lamb rolls from the Indo Lankan Food Bar many years ago, and were delighted to find similar rolls at the Colors of India

These were $5.00 for two with each roll being around 10 cm in length and 4 cm in diameter.

This is the Chicken Roll. The pastry is crispy and just thin enough to hold together the innards. The innards are made of a good mix of chicken and tender potatoes and seasoned with a flavourful mix of spices that deliver a healthy heat.
This is the Lamb Roll and it tastes much like how we remembered fondly. The lamb is melt-in-the-mouth, while its gamy gave the innards a more complex flavour that holds its own against the spice mix that delivered a similar heat and flavour to the chicken.
