This is the Ambev Guaraná Antarctica, a guaraná-flavoured soft drink from Brazil containing 0.013% guarana extract. Guarana is a temperate to tropical fruit from the soapberry family, which also includes lychees, longans, and rambutans.

The beverage had a clear caramel hue with a mellow, sweet, berry-like aroma and moderate carbonation. When chilled, it offered a mild, apple-like sweetness at the start of each sip, which then developed with slightly tart berry notes mid-sip. The effervescence effectively cleansed the palate, leaving a clean aftertaste. The mildness of the flavour stood in stark contrast to the unpleasant boldness of drinks containing guarana (for its caffeine content) like Red Bull and briefly evoked a hint of berry-flavoured cough medicine. However, this association was so subtle that the drink remained remarkably enjoyable and distinct.
This Ambev Guaraná Antarctica contained 375 mL. It was produced in Brazil and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
