This Hershey’s Company Favourites Chocolate Mix contained Reese’s Miniature Cups, Hershey’s Kisses and Rolo.

Reese’s Miniature Cups

Each piece is 3 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm in height. On biting through, there’s an initial sweetness from the milk chocolate before sinking into the peanut butter centre, which has an initially unappetizing powdery mouthfeel before quickly absorbing moisture to give a bold oily peanut oiliness followed by a savoury note ahead of the initial sweetness returning with an overwhelming cloying intensity in the finish from the milk chocolate, which is chalky.

Hershey’s Kisses

Each piece is 2 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in height. On biting through, the flavour was all we need to be reminded of the reason we avoid chocolate from the Hershey’s company. It’s very chalky with an overwhelmingly offputting milky flavour that persists throughout the whole chocolate. It’s the worst of the three as it doesn’t have the other flavours to distract from the chocolate.

Rolo

Each piece is 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height. The graininess of the chocolate is very evident in the Rolo, but thankfully, the caramel is reasonably smooth and chewy to be redeeming. That said, we’re still not fans.

One can only assume that the majority of Americans have not eaten other brands of chocolate because there is not doubt that Hershey’s Company is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to chocolate products.
