This is the Lupicia Bellissimo, a tisane available exclusively from the Hankyu Umeda Store in Ōsaka.

The looseleaf was a blend of rosehips, rose petals, dried apples and jasmine blossoms.

Steeping 3 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at a temperature of 95ºC for a duration of 4 minutes, the resultant infusion displayed a transparent, vibrant red tone. Its aroma was a harmonious blend of fruity and floral characteristics. Served hot, the initial moments of each sip revealed the essence of dried apples, introducing a fruity sweetness, subtly uplifted by the mild tang of rosehips. As the sip progressed, delicate rose notes intertwined with dewy jasmine hints, imparting an intricate floral complexity to the finish that artfully subdued the prior acidity from the rosehips and apples. On the whole, the caffeine-free herbal tea achieved an elegant, layered floral depth, uniting a gentle sweetness with refreshing acidity.

This Lupicia Bellissimo contained 30 g. The tea was sourced from Chile, packaged in Japan, and purchased in Ōsaka, Japan in 2023.
