This is the Kikkoman Soy Milk Processed, featuring the original flavour most comparable to unflavoured processed soy milk. It contains at least 13% soybean solids, significantly more than the usual 4-9%, but less than the 18% in the unprocessed version.
The beverage had an opaque beige hue, slightly yellower than the bottled soy milks available from Asian supermarkets. When tasted cool, it had a thick and creamy mouthfeel, yet it still flowed easily through a straw. The flavour began with rich beany notes from the start of each sip, accompanied by a mellow natural sweetness. It developed a notable savoury cereal quality towards the finish, leaving no aftertaste. Overall, its taste profile was identical to Vita Soy Milk but with a slightly less aromatic flavour. It was much more enjoyable than the unsweetened processed soy milk from Hoa Hung Tofu.
This Kikkoman Soy Milk Processed contained 200 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
