The cookies are sealed individually in foil, with each being 6 x 3 x 0.5 cm in size with the warm savoury aroma of salted egg yolks.

The cookie has a warm savoury aroma of salted egg yolks. Upon tasting, though, the first impressions are a dense, dry and crumbly cookie with an overwhelming blandness. But, just as we’re about to give up on the cookie, it takes on more moisture with an initial sweetness emerging in the body before pops of savoury salted egg yolk that relieves the sweetness and develop in bursts to an enjoyable richness in the finish. While our first impressions of the cookie weren’t promising, the cookie grew on us after we’re introduced to its richness.

This TkFood Salted Egg Yolk Cookies contained 180 g or 18 pieces. It was produced in Taiwan and received as a gift from acquaintances in 2020.
