Oh Henry! are a popular candy bar in North America with different versions being sold in Canada and the United States.

This is the Canadian version, which has fudge in the centre, surrounded with a thin layer of caramel, then nuts surround and finally enrobed in milk chocolate.

The chocolate bar bites through with ease into the chocolate and crunchy peanuts that then give way to the caramel and the soft fudge, which delivered an overwhelming sweetness. Overall, both the lumpy appearance and caramel/nutty flavour of the bar recalled a Cadbury Picnic, but we prefer the latter as the addition of biscuit and puffed rice counters the sweetness better, while the chewy nougat delivered a more satisfying chew than the fudge into which the teeth just sink.

This Hersheys Oh Henry! contained 58 g. It was produced in Canada and received as a gift from family visiting Vancouver, Canada in 2019.
