Three flavours – Mint Cream & Cookie Smash, Salted & Sea Salt and (our favourite) Espresso Biscuit & Ganache – formed the initial line up of flavours inspired by the KitKat Chocolatory in Melbourne. This Nestlé KitKat Chocolate Mousse Deluxe Milk Chocolate is the latest addition to the series. It featured ‘rich, smooth chocolate mousse covered in creamy milk chocolate’.
This KitKat tastes much like a deluxe version of original KitKats, with a richer chocolate flavour added from the mousse. The wafers are crispy, contrasting well with the smoothness of the milk chocolate. It’s a delicious KitKat, there’s no doubt about it, but it’s also a very ordinary and unimaginative addition to the series supposed to be inspired by the inventiveness characterising the KitKat Chocolatory.
