The beverage had a clear burgundy-red-brown hue, with an aroma of subtle, crisp sweetness and woody hints of camphor, accompanied by fine carbonation. Upon tasting, the unsweetened tea began with a hint of natural sweetness reminiscent of sugarcane juice, before evolving with the minerally and woody notes of pu-erh. The flavour culminated in fragrant intensity in the body, featuring the signature earthy mushroom notes akin to shiitake but without being savory. This developed into a subtle earthy bitterness in the finish, and the bubbles cleansed the palate for a clean aftertaste. The overall pu-erh flavour was elegant and rich, yet refreshing with a distinctly modern twist on a traditional taste.
