This is the Kang Shi Fu Iced Black Tea Lemon. After seeing it frequently featured in Chinese dramas—sometimes as an obvious sponsor and other times subtly placed on shelves in the background—we were influenced by the persistent advertising and decided to try it ourselves.

The tea had a clear brown hue and a mild, sweet aroma, with no distinct lemon notes. When consumed chilled, it initially delivered a sweetened black tea flavour, mellow and without astringency or bitterness, but also lacking depth or complexity. Mid-sip, a weak lemon flavour emerged, more reminiscent of lemon fragrance than juice, zest or oils, with only a faint tanginess towards the finish. Overall, the beverage was underwhelming, especially when compared to Vita Lemon Tea, which carries an intense fresh lemon flavour alongside its sweetness. In contrast, this tea tasted like diluted sweetened black tea with just a hint of lemon.
This Kang Shi Fu Iced Black Tea Lemon contained 1 L. It was produced in China and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
