This is the Chilled Mango Sago Cream with Pomelo ($12.50, 70% sweetness, fixed ice) from TopTea. The drink presented with clear layering: pomelo vesicles, diced mango and sago at the base, an opaque middle layer of coconut milk, and a mango slushie on top.
When first served chilled, the density of the slushie made incorporation with the coconut milk difficult. After resting for approximately 30 minutes, integration improved noticeably. At that point, the drink resolved into a very good mango sago pomelo beverage, with a fresh mango flavour showing ripe, natural sweetness. The coconut milk softened the profile with light creaminess and a gentle nuttiness. The mango pieces tasted fresh and came up the straw easily, the pomelo vesicles were plump and juicy with a sweet citrus pop, and the sago contributed a mild chew comparable to crystal pearls.
Overall, this was a very good mango sago pomelo drink, broadly on par with HeyTea. Repurchase would be likely, although the bottle handle felt unnecessary from a packaging perspective.
