This is the Sin Yee Food Coconut Cookies, a toasted coconut biscuit featuring compressed coconut, peanut and sugar

Each package contained eight individually sealed pieces, each rectangular and measuring 6 × 3 × 1.5 cm. They presented as golden-brown, compressed bricks of toasted coconut fibres. Aroma opened with sweet, nutty notes.
Initial contact revealed a rough surface and dense appearance reminiscent of Weet-Bix, but the biscuit broke apart with a light crunch and a loose crumb. The texture remained uniform throughout, starting dry and crisp before hydrating rapidly on the palate as the coconut fibres softened. This released a caramelised sweetness that complemented the toasted coconut and nutty peanut. The peanut reinforced the nuttiness, while coconut remained the primary flavour driver. Compared with Weet-Bix, the biscuit was considerably lighter in texture and offered a more enjoyable flavour.
Overall, a toasted coconut biscuit with a progression from nutty aromas to caramelised sweetness, supported by a light, loose crumb that softened rapidly on the palate, resulting in a pleasantly coconut-forward snack with a lighter texture than its dense appearance suggested.
This Sin Yee Food Coconut Cookies contained 140 g (8 pieces). It was produced in Malaysia and purchased in Sydney, Australia, in 2026.
