This is the Starbucks Green Drink ($7.00.95, venti). It consisted of a blend of fruit juice with grape and yuzu flavours, yuzu inclusions, coconut milk, and ice.
The beverage had an opaque pastel green colour and a slightly sharp sweet aroma reminiscent of grape-flavoured cough syrup. Served chilled, the initial sharpness from the yuzu oil combined with the intense sweetness of the grapes, evoking a bittersweet association with cough syrup that persisted from start to finish. The fresh flavour of green grapes was not discernible, lacking the tropical hints of sweet acidity typical of green grapes. Despite the presence of yuzu rind bits, which added texture, they had trouble coming up through the thin Starbucks straws. Additionally, the drink required frequent stirring as the yuzu pieces settled at the bottom, failing to stay evenly distributed. Overall, this drink was not worth repurchasing.
