This is the Chatime Jasmine Milk Tea ($5.20, +$0.00.75 for pearls).
The tea is a translucent beige, off-white colour with a floral aroma. Served hot, the jasmine came through in the head as a fragrant and natural floral flavour – not at all heady – against strong notes of dairy. The jasmine builds to prominence in the body before even stronger notes of dairy return in the finish with a moderate astringency and a slight jasmine aftertaste. I’m not a fan of the prominent dairy flavour of this tea, which was masked well by the oolong.
Jasmine Milk Tea was purchased at Chatime in Sydney, Australia during June 2018.
