The juice is a translucent orange colour with a sweet tropical nose recalling orange, pineapple and banana. It has a thick consistency from the orange pulp and fruit purees. Served chilled, notes of orange came through ahead of a gentle sweetness in the body that picks up the tropical flavours from the banana and mango followed by a developing acidity from the pineapple and passionfruit in the finish. The viscosity and acidity of the juice surprised us as we did not expect a 3.5% decrease in pear juice and an increase in 3.5% banana purée to make as stark a difference.
